a fellow student is charged with shooting bowery. new this morning, teachers in anne arundel county will get more money in their paychecks. the school board approved a 1.25% cost of living increase. about 6,000 workers will get raises at the cost of nearly $2.5 million. most of those will get the raise coming up in january. a judge rules a change in the pension system. this is the baltimore police and firefighters. that judge says it's unconstitutional. the unions have been fighting a change that came down in 2010. they say the city eliminated variable benefit increases and substituted cost of living adjustments based on age. the city can appeal that decision. sharon love experienced the worst devastation any parent can live through. we're talking about losing a child. her daughter was murdered by an ex-boyfriend. instead of hiding from the

we'll have showers, some stormy weather going into the afternoon. but we're talking about good things happening. it's cool this morning but just grab the jacket to combat that. 51 in baltimore right now, easton at 53 and chestertown 51 degrees this morning. the satellite and radar are not picking up on a lot. we have clear skies as of now, translating into sunshine through the morning hours. into the afternoon we'll begin clouds moving in across the area. this is the setup for today through sunday. we have sunshine, partly cloudy skies by the afternoon and staying dry but this cold front will make its move by saturday, bringing us showers, stormy weather, a chance for damaging wind coming into the picture. then by sunday we'll turn

cooler and turn breezy by the morning time, drying out or dying down as we head into the evening for the ravens game. we do see those showers and storms rolling in about 3:00, 4:00 as we head into our saturday. drying out after that, the afternoon high around 79 degrees for today and here is that football forecast. as we head into sunday, we see the patriots playing the ravens. we are going to win with temperatures coming in around 61 degrees. it will be clear and cool with winds out of the northwest about 5 to 10 miles an hour. let's check traffic with lauren this morning. good morning and best of luck to the ravens and orioles. very proud of our baltimore teams. we have a serious crash in anne arundel county, the southbound lanes of route 3 shut down at the sand highway. if you're only i-97 in the area, fortunately no problems

we are learning more about this girl singing whitney houston's i will always love you in a grocery store. it's a youtube video that's gone viral. so far more than a million hits, actually a million and a half they are saying, and they are calling her the random girl online. the folks at ryan seacrest site were able to to the locate her. she's from the philippines and recently signed a record agreement. have you ever belted out that song and been busted?
